Cancel Running Workflow on Error

Do you have a workflow that takes a long time to run? Perhaps you have multiple data sources and you are in testing mode. Do you want to stop the workflow completely when it receives an error early in your workflow?

Alteryx has an option to cancel the workflow when it receives an error. You can also add a custom message using the message tool when it does this and/or you can send yourself an Events email if you are multitasking!

Click anywhere on your canvas and go to the Runtime tab of your Workflow Configuration pane. Select the Cancel Running Workflow on Error box.

Now when you receive an error, something like the below the error message will appear in your Results pane;
